Conrad Tokyo: Hotel Review
If you are looking for a luxury stay in Tokyo and have Hilton status + points [or $$$] to spare, the Conrad was a very nice hotel. Pros: Wonderful service for being a Diamond member [shoutout to Fumio] Breakfast was great [and they gave me an extra bfast when I emailed ahead of time I was arriving early] Pool with city views (although just 3 lanes) Limousine bus pickup/dropoff spot for Narita Airport Cons: Pricey Can be a trek to get to room [i.e. transfer from 1st floor to higher floor lobby to another elevator] Booking: I used a Hilton Free Night Certificate that I get annually on my Aspire credit card- a Saturday night would've been 100,000 Hilton Points or $1048 USD after taxes and fees. Arrival: I came from another hotel in Shinjuku, and used uber/taxi rather than taking multiple suitcases on the subway. I arrived before 9 AM to see if I could get lucky with early check-in.
