I'm a Cambodian/Chinese-American in California, where my parents eventually relocated from after fleeing the Khmer Rouge. 
I'm a government lawyer in Sacramento.
Quarantine has made me a cat daddy.

Hilton Moorea – Overwater Bungalow Review

The Hilton Moorea was one of the coolest hotel experiences in my life: staying in an overwater bungalow and sharing the turquoise ocean backyard with fish, sting rays, and sharks was incredible. While I was fortunate to be upgraded from a land bungalow, we still paid a pretty penny to stay at this property and the Hilton Aspire card helped cover several costs (breakfast, premium wifi, etc.) If you stay, I recommend having at least Hilton gold status (through Amex Platinum or other Hilton Amex card) to maximize covering costs. This Hilton is pricey and not exactly super luxurious, but being in an overwater bungalow for a few days really did feel like paradise. Like any profession, getting a job in the legal field is all about who you know and your reputation. But networking doesn't have to suck, it can be as easy as grabbing a casual cup of coffee with a fellow colleague. You never know where a simple meeting may lead you- possibly to your next job or inspiration for where to go next! One of my 30 goals before 30 was to: Set up informational interviews with an attorney/professional once a month. Lion King: 30th Anniversary at the Hollywood Bowl!

I happened to be in LA Memorial Day weekend and got to see: Disney’s The Lion King 30th Anniversary: A Live-to-Film Concert at the Hollywood Bowl. It is supposed to be on Disney Plus soon - and they filmed it with drones.  The highlight was definitely seeing Nathan Lane live, but also hearing Jennifer Hudson, Jeremy Irons, and I guess now I can say I was there for the moment nepo-baby North West went on stage... and it was something.  Buying the tickets:  I bought tickets for $25 each (including taxes and fees) around Section L2, as part of Rakuten ticket/concert deal- maybe 2 weeks before the show. There were a lot of seats left for the Saturday night show.  American Express Entrance:  General tip for Hollywood bowl entrance: The American Express line on the left is sometimes shorter than general admission.
