The Peak (Hong Kong) and Disney cross-over

If you are in Hong Kong and a fan of Disney, you can take the tram up to Victoria Peak for Disney photo ops/souvenirs.

TIP: go around 11 AM if you want to buy Disney stuff. Store does not open til noon. But I went at 8 AM and there were generally less crowds. By 10 AM sky terrace was crowded and unpleasant [humid also]. Also, walking uphill to the stop was already semi-tiring, maybe I should've ubered.

8 AM - no line - I wasted a skip the line ticket.

On the tram:

Arriving:

Sky Terrace 428:

In reality the sky terrace was very crowded and some Disney statues I did not bother try taking pics because there were lines of 2-3 groups even in the morning.

Other Peak highlights:

Bakehouse + A view (at opening, but plenty of seats generally)

Less crowded viewpoint from Peak Galleria [and free compared to Sky Terrace 428]

While there was a nice view, I wish I knew the Disney store was open at noon, because there was nothing for me to do for another 1.5 hours at the peak, and even being outside in the humidity was making me feel miserable. If you do buy a tote and magnet ticket souvenir, you get a free photobooth print. I also missed out on a old HK photo area that was open at 11, but I just wanted to check into my hotel room.

Overall, the Peak and Disney collab was cute, but unnecessary if you get there before noon, and if you just want nice views you can go early and take pics at Galleria rather than Sky Terrace and save $ not going to sky terrace.
