Dim Sum at Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel

I've always wanted to try dim sum at the Hong Kong Disneyland hotel - and what better chance to try it than before a 10K run at HK Disneyland?

I reserved a Crystal Lotus Lunch for one through the HK Disney website (it's possible even if it says two people minimum).

Menu:

$428 HKD was around $55 USD.

Tea: (and cucumber palette cleanser)

Courses:

Appetizer - Chilled Smoked Duck Breast with Jellyfish and Pomelo

Dim Sum Delight -

Mickey's Seafood Glutinous Pancake

'Olu Mei Pineapple and Seafood Bun

Piglet Chicken and Corn Bun

Soup - Braised Seafood Broth with Bamboo Piths

Main dish: Wok-fried Scallop with Cordyceps Flower and Yunnam Ham Sauce

Fried Red Rice with Wagyu Beef and Conpoy

Dessert:

Winnie the Pooh's Cactus Sweet Soup, Mango Sago Cream and Pomelo

Tigger Maltose and Purple Potato Bun

Overall thoughts:

I was definitely full and everything was tasty except the buns were just average. I saw a solo diner order some of the character buns a la carte so the dim sum lunch course isn't absolutely necessary to reserve if you want a little Disney in your lunch, but it was very filling and a nice lunch experience.
