Eevee Afternoon Tea at Ometesando Strings Hotel

A highlight of my last Tokyo trip: Pokemon themed afternoon tea! If there is a Pokemon pop-up event, I would recommend over the Pokemon cafe (less stressful to book, food was better)
Booking:
About 2 months in advance, I booked this afternoon tea dining experience which I kept seeing on my instagram.
I yolo'ed and booked the premium seat experience - there were different start times for the Afternoon tea and I booked 2 pm.
Cost:
I went all in and got the 9500 yen set on a Friday to maximize the experience - and as a Pokemon fan and foodie it was worth it!
Experience: 10/10
The venue was gorgeous, the terrace is outside an upscale hotel where a wedding was taking place.
The decor was amazing.
Decorated tables on the terrace:
Menu:
Our server was friendly and tried to speak a little English. I just pointed at the tea selection and said "kore onegaishimasu" and the only other choice was the special drink. The food came out pretty quickly.

Overall thoughts:
From admiring the decor the moment I entered, and the friendly atmosphere (someone lent me her plushie when she saw I wanted a photo with the eevees and her and her friend gave me thumbs up), this was the most fun afternoon tea I've ever experienced! I enjoy sweets and the sweets definitely outnumbered the savory, and everything was really high quality (although the sweets did end on the heavier side- I don't know how petite Japanese women can eat this entire meal). The service was also great and the staff helped take pictures. I definitely recommend trying out theme pop up experiences!
